Hartland is always peaceful, even when the beaches are bustling, there is always a wonderful charm and peace around Hartland, plenty of space, wonderful light and great walks.

The Cow Shed is a modern self catering holiday home in Hartland, a brand new cottage converted from a former cow shed. Meadows surround it and you can walk from the garden gate across a field to the stunning Coast Path winding down into Clovelly (for the fit with stout boots). In front, a decked patio (table/chairs) with grassed, hedge-enclosed garden beyond. Inside, glossy, comfortable, roomy and a romantic place to chill out and forget the rush of modern life.

Living/dining/kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer) with woodburner, TV/DVD; loo (washer-drier). Stairs up to a double bedroom (5 foot bed) with smart en suite shower-room (suite). Spring water. No children, except pre-crawling babies. Great star-gazing country.

Cottage Review:   We had a very peaceful week here, A really comfortable space with all the facilities one could need. The Cowshed is very well laid out for two people. The kitchen is really well provided in utensils and appliances. The owners are super friendly and there were little extras from their garden left for us during the week - thank you so much.

Cottage Review:   Just returned from a fortnight staying at the Cow Shed. It was amazing, I would have given a higher rating if it had been possible. The cottage has been furnished to the highest spec, I can't think of anything that hadn't been thought about by the owners.Such a comfortable bed, brilliant power shower, gorgeous handmade soaps. The accommodation is off the beaten track which just enhanced a tranquil and peaceful holiday, it was so easy to completely unwind...in fabulous comfort.
