Description of the cottage holiday
The Barn in Aveton Gifford is an extremely well presented holiday cottage that sleeps four, an upside down barn conversion that is completed to a very high standard and exudes character and style. Aveton Gifford is a popular tourist village in the South Hams in Devon, ideally located to explore the great beaches nearby including Bantham, full of character and traditional Devon cottages. If you are looking for a holiday home for four people in the South Hams, The Barn at Aveton Gifford is a good choice. There is a large and roomy lounge upstairs in the open plan design, complete with incredibly high, oak beamed original ceilings. To cream sofas are set around a coffee table in the lounge with a flatscreen TV and wood burner against the wall. There is a dining area with seating for four at the wooden dining table. To the side of the dining area is the kitchen, a very modern and contemporary design with stainless steel units and services, complete with an electric oven and induction hob. Additional facilities include a dishwasher and microwave, coffeemaker and a larder fridge. Downstairs at The Barn in Aveton Gifford, there are two bedrooms including a double bedroom with a large, 6 foot bed with its own ensuite bathroom, complete with a bath and shower over the bath. There is an additional double bedroom with its own ensuite shower room complete with a power shower. Also downstairs at The Barn, you have a utility area with a washing machine and a freezer.Best Features
The big selling point of The Barn is, not only its location near Aveton Gifford, there are also gorgeous gardens surrounding the holiday cottage. There is a sun trap courtyard to capture a great sun tan and a fantastic 6 acres of land, including specific wildlife areas and a pond, to explore. A beautiful cottage in a very popular location, The Barn is child friendly and does not accept pets and is non-smoking.
