| Cottage Review:
We?ve just come home from staying at the Art Deco House, Menai Bridge where we had an excellent experience. Unfortunately zi misread the instructions regarding the key which resulted in contacting Sykes who in turn had to contact the owner. The owner, Huw, came out and to my everlasting shame, I saw him access the key no problem. My daughter and husband met with him and he was lovely. He showed them round explained how everything works and was most helpful really very pleasant. The house was immaculate, beautifully presented, couldn?t fault it. Well equipped, I had taken things such as cafetière, bottle opener, cleaning supplies, no need, everything you could think of was provided. We?d read previous reviews stating skirting boards weren?t clean, utensils not clean amongst other complaints. I?m not one of those who go round running my fingers over tops of doors, looking down plug holes etc, there was no need, you could see quite clearly how clean it was. We all slept well, it wasn?t noisy, although wherever you are the dawn chorus erupts. It didn?t spoil anything. It?s location is within walking distance of amenities so you don?t need to take a car unless you want to. All in all we had a lovely stay and will be booking to stay again. We highly recommend it. |
