Tanglewood is a pretty and romantic holiday cottage for two people in Kongswear, set in a beautiful location with fantastic views high above the River Dart with the sea in the distance, ideal for a couple looking for a quiet getaway in a gorgeous location. Tanglewood is a single bedroom holiday cottage that sits above an open-sided garage which you are welcome to use for storage or bicycles, adjacent to the house where the owners and their friendly dogs reside. Twenty-five steps up to a sloping lawned garden (occasionally shared with owners) with spectacular decked area (picnic table, barbecue) surrounded by a glass balustrade, beyond which are 30 acres of National Trust woodland, making it a perfect eyrie from which to observe the bustling boating activity below. From the parking area at Tanglewood in Kingswear, 10 steps up to front door into kitchen (microwave, fridge-freezer) with the stunning river views. Open-plan living/dining room (TV/DVD/video) with the same great view, separated by a woven willow screen from the sleeping area with double bed and colourful wall hangings. Bathroom (suite plus bath-shower and separate shower). A haven for two, from which to explore by foot, bicycle, rail, bus or ferry, without the need for a car.Sleeps: 2
