| Cottage Review:
This is a wonderful cottage, perfect location but it was FILTHY on arrival. We booked through Sykes Cottages and we were pressed continually for our feedback on our return - we were simply not going to feedback anything negative but kept being the emails. In the end a week if so later we fed back about the cleaning we had to do. Ughhh. We are FED up for paying so much money for putrid holiday homes- and as requested sent in images and a video of the grossness we had to clean. Owners left such a defensive rubbish response on Sykes - it is laughable. We sent evidence as they requested but heard nothing more! No apology. Such strange owners. We submitted our feedback within a week or our stay as Sykes kept asking, emailing & calling. Then they blame ?their management company?. Just admit you don?t care about the cleanliness. The bathroom tiles are mouldy & black. Lets down the house . Hair all over bathroom. Skirting boards disgraceful. It?s a filthy rip-off. Just apologise, that?s all you need to do and improve the cleaning for future guests. So cheeky asking for a security deposit like it?s 1992 despite NOT cleaning the bathroom, hallways, fridge door handles, most drawers and actually cried cleaning the bathroom. NO NEED |
