Beautiful house, immaculately clean on our arrival and in a great position overlooking the beautiful town of Dartmouth down to the River Dart.

Over 4 floors this is a very well equipped home. The kitchen has been beautifully refitted since these photos with a very high quality kitchen indeed. There is a very large deck with river views (that you get from every floor) with a large table and chairs and sun loungers.

The master bedroom is spacious with an Uber comfy super king bed and is next to the spacious family bathroom with both a good shower and bath. On the next floor is the lounge which has two large sofas and window seats. A good quality TV and excellent speedy internet that you can get through the house. This enabled me to work and do zoom calls with ease, while enjoying the splendid view.

The second bedroom is a comfortable double and on the top floor is a good sized twin room with good sized twin beds (suitable for adults and children).

There is a short walk into the centre of Dartmouth down some of the picturesque little streets and we highly recommend The Sail Loft for a rewarding drink at the bottom. You can walk back up or if you prefer get the 90 bus from either the front or outside the Spar, it stops almost opposite the house.

The restaurants in Dartmouth are very good with lots of choice but we found it’s advisable to book in Advance, but it was fabulous to be able to walk to them.

We also enjoyed getting the boat upto Agatha Christie’s House and crossing the River to visit the spectacular Collaton Fishacre. The beaches of Blackpool Sands, Slapton, Bigbury and Bantham are all worth a visit, as is Start Point. The coastal walks are really spectacular or just take a good book and switch off. A perfect destination and place to stay!

Parking is often an issue in Dartmouth, at this house you can pull up outside and unload, there is a garage down the road which we got our 4x4 in but probably would struggle with a Range Rover. However we parked very easily on the street just next to the property and if not there is a brilliant park & ride which people recommend for the summer, but I would say overall this house is a good parking house for this town.
