Thank god we chose this villa as the weather was horrible the whole week and we could not go out- There are so many things to do in the villa with kids in the pool all the time or watching telly and movies(large stock available) or playing various Board games which are kept in the library. we adults relaxed with the sauna and jacuzzi and the large lounge was very handy. the kitchen had all that we needed as we cooked quite often though we did have a meal in the local pub which was decent. The house is at split level with wonderfull views from all rooms(except from library and 1 bedrrom at lowest levels). we went to Eden project 1 day (about an hours drive). visited Dartmoor ( about 20 mins drive)Seaside towns of teignmouth, shaldon and Dawlish are quite close as is Torquay. we promised ourselves that we will come again in summer

This is a lovely house in a stunning country location. We stayed here over Xmas and although the weather was bad, were able to invite family living nearby over as there was a lot for (esp kids) to do with the pool and games room. Plenty of room for a big family with lots of beds plus the added bonus of a country pub down the road serving delicious food if you want. Also very convenient location for shopping/visiting Exeter which is a lovely city.

Make up of party:  Family of 5 with grown up kids plus one extra adult.

A really nice villa for all ages. Fortunately we took this cottage as the weather in Devon was horrible the whole week but the kids had a blast in the swimming pool and watched loads of movies.

plent of room in lounge for adults and the snooker table was a big hit.lots of nice books to curl up with too in the library.kitchen is modern with more than adequaute cutlery. the house was overall well kept with fresh good quality linen and towels.we mostly did our own cooking but did sample the local pub food which was quite good. wevisited the local attractions in torquay and teignmouth, shaldon and dawlish and even went to Eden project in Cornwall ( an hours drive). drove to dartmoor (20 mins drive) but did not get out.

we promsed each other we will come back in summer
