Cottage Review:

Lovely cottage with harbour views. We found the cottage to be very clean & tidy. The bed was very comfortable and the children loved the bunk beds. Great position and views. Lots of home comforts and facilities. It doesn’t have a washing machine but who wants to do washing whilst on holiday? There’s a laundrette within walking distance if needed. We would highly recommend and look forward to coming back again.

Cottage Review:

Stayed here for the last 4 summers with my little boy as its the perfect location right on the harbour. It has a picturesque view where you can sit in the balcony and watch everyone walking by below you. Comfy and cosy rooms. Thin walls but the neighbours are quiet, which is normal as its an old fishermans cottage. The highlight of course is the crab fishing which my little boy loves. You'll find the harbour lined with families catching crab until 9.00 at night for some. Lots of entertainment in the harbour every day with a variety of restaurants, shops and bars which are 10 seconds away from your door. Great if you forget something from the shops. A new cocktail bar has opened in the next building, plus another on the other side of the harbour who offer 2 cocktails for £10, which are made very well and the cake is very nice. The free private parking bay feels like VIP parking as its on the harbour next to the water. You can see your car parked from the balcony and they have CCTV there for extra security. Finally caved in and went on the pirate ship this year which was fun. Also went on a fishing trip and the group caught about 50 mackerel altogether. Close to Dartmouth so you can take the car ferry over the river to explore the shops and cafes. The beach is in walking distance which has a good rockpool area for the kids to explore. Very enjoyable break and I will return next year.

Make up of party:  My 5 year old boy and I stayed for 5 nights this year.
