Description of the holiday cottage
This charming 17thC thatch cottage, beautifully restored in 2011 and tastefully furnished as a holiday cottage, is within easy reach of N. Devon’s beaches, attractions and Exmoor. Enter by the kitchen/diner fully equipped with fridge/freezer, washer/ dryer, hob with twin-oven & grill, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle and toaster, Portmeirion tableware and large pine table comfortably seating 6. Step through into the lounge with beamed ceiling and large inglenook fireplace housing a wood burner and bread oven. Definitely a place for relaxation activities it contains a Laura Ashley furnishings, DTV/Freeview, Digital Tuner/CD player with iPod port, WiFi, books, jigsaws and board games. The master bedroom has a large double bed and DTV. The twin room has a small en suite. The beds can be linked if preferred. All rooms have modern storage heating. A family bathroom is also on the 1st floor. Rock has a terrace garden with outdoor seating areas, outdoor furniture, views and off road parking spaces.Best Features
Every care has been taken to ensure guests can enjoy a memorable holiday at Rock. IT is equipped with a wide range of facilities from WiFi to a garlic press.
It's superbly located to enjoy all North Devon's best attractions from the golden beaches at Saunton Sands, Croyde and Woolacombe to magical walks through the surrounding countryside and across Exmoor.
