Description of the holiday cottage
Riverside Lodge is a contemporary yet welcoming lodge, set within some of the most beautiful woodland that South Devon has to offer. The lodge was designed with relaxation in mind, making it the perfect retreat if you’re after peace and quiet. Inside, the lodge's modern yet homely furnishings make this an ideal base to relax with the family. Step out onto the decking to enjoy a meal and listen to the birds, or venture slightly further afield to the goat meadow – a great spot for a picnic on a sunny day.
Riverside is the perfect place to enjoy the countryside with children. Enjoy the outdoors before returning to your lodge with crisp linens and home comforts. You can also relax on the decking area - the perfect place to take in the wonderful surroundings. There’s plenty to explore in the area surrounding Gara Mill. Slapton Sands is just a short drive away, where you can enjoy a day relaxing on the beach, or join the surfers at nearby Bantham. A trip to Dartmouth is a must, and for something a little different, try your hand at crab fishing on the jetty at Dittisham.

| Cottage Review:
We had the most fantastic Easter staying at Riverside Lodge! The lodge is so well appointed with everything you could every possibly want from self-catering accommodation, plus lots of added extras! The owners really have thought of everything, a real home from home. The chocolate, crisps and drinks provided made our welcome very special. The lodge was lovely and clean and extremely comfortable, we could have definitely stayed for longer and will definitely be going back. It was so tranquil, with the sounds of the stream, birds etc! Breakfast by the river was delightful. We would highly recommend this lodge for families and couples alike, there’s so much to do just a short drive away! |
