| Cottage Review:
A beautiful property and setting. The barn is finished to a high spec with everything you need for a great holiday. The top quality bedding/towels were a nice touch along with the welcome hamper. On arrival everything was straight forward and the property easily accessible. The location is VERY rural and secluded which gives you the peace of the countryside with lovely views but please note everything is a car drive away, if you are looking to leave the property even for a walk it will need to be by car. We couldn?t find and local footpaths, even to the village of Stockland. The roads are the width of a car with the hedgerows overgrown with stinging nettles so no space to move aside for passing vehicles. However, the location gave you easy access to Honinton, Lyme Regis, Beer and many more lovely seaside villages/towns. We ate out most days, our favourite pub was the Tuckers Arms, you will need to book several days in advance. The others we visited that we?d return to are, The Otter Inn and The Kings Arms. The whole family enjoyed the hot tub and the board games. Our dog loved the extra large dog bed that is provided and instantly ditched her own. A beautiful property and surroundings, you won?t be disappointed but be prepared to drive a lot if you are looking to get out and about. |

| Cottage Review:
My family and I loved our stay here! It is a stunning house in a relaxing secluded location. We felt instantly at home and loved the minimal but homely furnishings. This place has been made to a really high spec with great views of the farm and forest. And, of course, the hot tub was loved by the whole family. When we arrived, the place was completely spotless - really clean. We also arrived to a lovely hamper full of goodies which was a great surprise. The rooms are large and spacious with modern en-suite bathrooms. There are also lots of practical things like a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board etc... The location was good too. Very rural but also close to the village of Stockland and a good location to drive to Sidmouth, Honiton and Exeter etc... We all really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone interested in a stay-cation. It's a really beautiful place! |
