| Cottage Review:
A very good experience. Settled into the cottage and felt comfortable very quickly. The owners, Nigel and Jo, are very friendly and made us most welcome along with their dogs and horses. The chocolate cake legend continues and it was very tasty. The bathroom had been refitted since we booked and now has a good modern shower cubicle rather than a bath. We enjoyed the farmhouse kitchen when in during the day and warmed ourselves by the multi-fuel stove in the cosy lounge at night. There are ample footpaths into the countryside from the village. What a great place to stay. The cottage is beautiful and the owners Nigel and Jo are so friendly, helpful and kind. A chocolate cake had been baked for our arrival. So kind and thoughtful. So much to do in this area. Walking, cycling, museums, art gallery's etc. The moors are so stunning at the moment and you can walk from the cottage straight on to the moors. |
