Pigwigs Place in Cornwood on Dartmoor is an enchanting holiday cottage, very unique with it's own style. Set in stunning Devon countryside, Pigwigs Place is a perfect location if you are looking to explore Dartmoor, like a rural setting and yet want to have easy access to the South Hams, Sleeping up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms, ideal for a family looking for a unique holiday home, dog friendly and with fantastic views!
Pigwigs Place is a mile from Cornwood, in the grounds of a beautiful 120 acre estate which is yours to enjoy, including woodland (for den building and adventures), the Piall River (brook fishing) and formal gardens with many unusual trees, hornbeam hedges, azaleas, rhododendrons; large pond (unfenced); tennis court.
Own private, enclosed courtyard (barbecue, garden furniture) with views to Rook Tor and Penn Moor beyond. Very well converted from a shippen, Pigwigs Place is attached to an 18th century stable block. Inside Pigwigs Place, homely and very comfortable. Porch; large, beamed open-plan living/dining/fitted kitchen (dishwasher, washer-drier, microwave, fridge-freezer, gas cooker) with woodburner (logs included), TV/DVD/video and long pine dining table/chairs. Upstairs (stairgates), three bedrooms including the master double (5 foot bed, ceiling to apex), a twin, and a children's twin lined with fabric from an Egyptian tent with canopy over the beds and exciting play area (VDU/DVD).
Bathroom (suite, shower over bath) and shower-room (suite). Spring water. WiFi available in owners' house. Riding stables within walking distance. A very welcoming place.
