Description of the holiday cottage

Orchard Cottage is a dog friendly rural holiday cottage near the village of Whimple in East Devon, Whimple is ideally located for exploring East Devon being on the old road to Exeter, close to Honiton and near the main access roads from London and the Midlands. Orchard Cottage has two bedrooms, suitable foe a family of four looking for a dog friendly holiday home near Exeter and with it's own enclosed gardens in a peaceful setting and yet with plenty of places to visit nearby.

Orchard Cottage has its own enclosed lawned garden with patio with table and chairs, overlooking fields where Shetland sheep graze (lambs in spring, dogs must be under control). Living/dining/kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer) with flagstoned floor (rug) and beams, comfy leather sofas, woodburner, TV/DVD and French windows to the patio. Upstairs, two bedrooms with lovely country views including a double, and one with two singles; bathroom (suite plus bath-shower). There is a great pub just half a mile away that has a fantastic reputation for serving high quality food in the Devon area that is a must visit if you are staying at Orchard Cottage
