Description of the holiday cottage
Tucked away in the rural farming hamlet of Coverack Bridges, this once modest farmhouse has been lovingly refurbished and skillfully extended virtually doubling its size. Incorporating two en-suite bedrooms each with king size beds, the design of the interior is ideally suited to provide space and comfort for all the family and you can holiday in surroundings that echo a wealth of country ambience. French oak flooring, beige carpeting and a predominately white décor combine to accentuate the generous aspect of the rooms and traditional furnishings include a lovely Dutch oak dining suite and cabinet. Inherent in the structure, an impressive stone fireplace, exposed granite walls, old beams and trusses are original character features. The farmhouse kitchen is distinctly modern with stainless steel and woodblock work tops and a central island, here the family can take leisurely meals around a big oak table. Bounded by stone walling there is a cottage garden to the front, a sheltered patio and lawn to the rear and a further concreted yard. Children will have the freedom to play in a field to the side of the house. Tour the south-west of Cornwall and discover the beaches, coves and picturesque villages of the Lizard Peninsula, Coverack Bridges lies three miles from Helston. There is ample parking.Best Features
