Description of the holiday cottage

No. 7 Prospect House is a modern, stylish and well-equipped property with much to offer. Prospect House is an award-winning New England style development completed in 2008. 

The apartment is within the main building of the Prospect House estate which holds a stunning position perched on the cliff top overlooking the whole of Start Bay - the views are fantastic. It sits adjacent to and within a few minutes' walk of Hallsands Beach.

Internally, the far reaching views are visible from every part of the bespoke, well-equipped and open plan living, dining and kitchen area. Externally, the sheltered communal garden to the rear has a heated outdoor pool area (available between May and September) and a full size tennis court. Prospect House also has a large communal garden at the front of the building with a dining area and benches overlooking the whole bay.

Prospect House sits directly by the South West Coast Path which leads to the unspoilt beach of Hallsands. Further along the path is the village of Beesands with the excellent local inn and a shellfish beach bar, Britannia, both of which offer fantastic food. The walk from Prospect House to Beesands takes approximately 20 minutes, otherwise it's a seven to ten minute drive.

There are many towns and villages to explore in the area that are ideal for day trips. The include the market town of Kingsbridge and the picturesque town of Salcombe which offer many water-based activities and beaches to enjoy. Torcross and Slapton are approximately four miles away. The historic estuary town of Dartmouth is reached by a short drive along the spectacular coastal road. There you will find a great selection of boutiques, cafes and high quality restaurants offering the catch of the day.
