| Cottage Review:
There is no washing machine in this apartment... There's a dishwasher for 2 people, plus about 400 wine glasses and a table that seats 10, but no washing machine. 2 bath towels are provided, with no option to wash them for a week. The onus is on the customer to notice there's no washer, but it would be more honourable for the listing to explicitly state there's no washing machine. If you're taking a dog, or participating in outdoorsy activities, you need to take plenty of towels, change of clothes etc. If anyone is staying in the Osprey apartment above, you can hear every footstep and toilet flush whilst laid in bed. There's also a weird mildew smell from one of the bathrooms. There's no enclosed space to let your dog out. There's a communal fire pit and seating area straight outside this apartment, literally next to the patio doors, that all the guests can use as they please and see into the apartment unless you close the curtains. There's no wardrobe or coat hooks, just a small clothes rail in the hallway. Aside from that, it's a nice modern place to stay and good location for forest walks and short distance from Aviemore, Loch walks, outdoor activities. |
