| Cottage Review:
A quick pre-Christmas getaway to the fabulous, ancient seaport of Whitby; the beautiful, picturesque natural coastal town. Full of character and charm with its quaint shops, cobbled streets, working harbour and Marina, historical monuments the Abbey and St Mary's church. At night a vast choice of restaurants and pubs to choose from. Mouette is in a fantastic location, less than ten minutes walk from the centre. The accomodation provided the perfect base for our stay. Very clean, comfortable, large and stylishly decorated; every need is catered for. We particularly enjoyed all the homey and seasonal touches..the fairy lights and the Christmas tree... Christmas biscuits and treats for our Golden retriever. The place is a haven of calm and relaxation after a full day out in Whitby. A small courtyard is located at the back of the apartment, with chairs and a table for milder weather. We absolutely loved Mouette, it is a credit to its owners and I highly recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting Whitby. Superb! |
