Description of the holiday cottage
Middle Coombe is an outstandingly beautiful 16th cent Grade II listed, semi-fortified, detached, thatched hallhouse deep in its own gentle valley, with spectacular views across 200 acres of organic working farm, orchard and woodlands with red and roe deer. There are extensive paths for walking or riding (mountain bikes available); swings, trampoline and slides for playing. Salmon and trout fishing free of charge on owner's private stretch of River Exe, by arrangement. A large enclosed garden with outdoor solar heated swimming pool (available 23 May to 12 Sep), paddling pool and summer houseSleeps: from 0 to 16

| Cottage Review: This is a fabulous house managed by a super couple which even on a cold wet weekend in November was a warm and welcoming place for a big family gathering. | |||||

| Cottage Review: A great cosy, full of character house for family get togethers. All six children (12-7 years old) enjoyed their Christmas stay as well as the eight adults. Very well equipped house. Get the back terrace fire going in the evening and roast marshmallows for a treat! | |||||
