Description of the self catering property
Situated within easy reach of picturesque attractions, such as Robin Hood's Bay and Scarborough, this cottage can accommodate groups of family or friends of up to five people in comfort. This property is part of a terrace of traditional Yorkshire houses, built from red brick and sitting on the banks of the River Esk. Two bedrooms offer enough accommodation to sleep up to five people and the living area is arranged in an open-plan fashion. There is plenty of space downstairs, with a spacious dining room, sitting room and a well-equipped kitchen. French windows open onto a private patio and there is also a balcony on the first floor, offering stunning views of the Esk. Visitors have access to a shared lawned garden and, in the colder months, the cottage warmed by central-heating throughout. A wonderful property at any time of year.Sleeps: 5

| Cottage Review:
I have to say that Maplbeck Cottage was one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. It's warm, comfortable, clean and welcoming. The facilities were exceptional including,in the kitchen, an air fryer,steamer and even a slow cooker. The location next to the river Esk was really good with plenty of bird life including swans, mallards, a variety of gulls and cormorants which roosted in the trees down river in full view. The cinder path which runs either way over Larpool viaduct was easily accessible from the cottage or small car park by the east side of it. We shall definitely stay again. |
