Lopes Cottage in Belstone in Dartmoor is a 2 bedrooom Devon holiday cottage with a traditional feel and sleeps 3 people and is dog friendly. A gorgeous cottage that has been refurbished throughout with style, Lopes Cottage in Belstone is ideal for small families looking to explore Dartmoor and is set in the truly gorgeous village of Belstone. With a warm and welcoming lounge with wood burner inglenook in a fantastic fireplace and two sofas plus modern tv, there is a real cottage feel to Lopes Cottage. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with electric cooker and dishwasher with all of the facilities that you would expect. The two bedrooms are upstairs with one double bedroom and one single bedroom accessed through two sets of stairs, both are styled to match the character of the property and there is also a large bathroom with bath and separate shower suite. Outside there is a fantastic garden with table and chairs set to enjoy the wonderful views towards the village and beyond. The garden is terraced style so there are steps up and down, beautifully laid out with well established flower beds and a haven in the summer months. The location is superb if you are looking for a rural and peaceful village with character in every nook and cranny. Lopes Cottage in Belstone is in a farming location with wildlife everywhere, virtually on your doorstep and walks around Dartmoor are literally on your doorstep.Best Features

| Cottage Review:
We have stayed in this adorable cottage at least 4 times and plan to visit again as soon as possible. The cottage is very comfortable, well equipped and presented. The owner is ever so helpful and friendly if you should want assistance or advice on anything. The village of Belstone is perfect for walkers. Right from the doorstep there are many easy to challenging walks, all in fantastic scenery. Apart from getting in the shopping, the car can be left parked up for our whole stay. However, it’s not far to drive out to many other amazing places on Dartmoor if we feel like exploring. The village pub is a two minute walk from the cottage and so is the quaint little church. There is also a village cafe which sells delicious cakes and like everywhere in the village you are given a warm welcome. Our two dogs love to play in the big secure garden. |
