Description of the cottage holiday
Linney Cottage is a barn conerversion holiday cottage in Dittisham in the Soth Hams with 3 bedrooms, pet friendly with private parking and sleeps 5 people. Linney Cottage is set on the hillside overlooking Dittisham, and is within 200 yards of the pub, village store and church, in the grounds of Dittisham Court. Two acres of shared gardens with lawns for playing, fruit trees and views over the river Dart.
Linney Cottage is terraced, sunny, south-facing, converted from a 300-year-old barn. A thickly hedged, enclosed, suntrap, private garden with a table and chairs down 11 steps at the back leads to the shared garden. Inside, the cottage is well decorated, light and comfy. Hall, off which two bedrooms including a twin, and a single; bathroom (suite, shower over bath). Stairs up to living/dining room with TV/DVD/video, good views over the river Dart and French windows to steps down to the garden.
Well-equipped fitted kitchen (dishwasher, washer-drier, microwave). Stairs to the master double bedroom with a five foot bed and the best views of all and en suite bathroom (suite, shower over bath). No pets permitted during school summer holidays. Best for maximum of 4 adults.

| Cottage Review:
This was my first proper visit to Devon and we could not have picked a better spot. The accommodation is on three levels so it is not for those who find stairs tricky. The double bedroom on the top floor is delightful and very spacious. Other rooms are less spacious but all is appointed to a high standard. There is a good field at the rear which our terrier found a great boon. A short walk up the field takes you to spectacular views over the Dart estuary. | Cottage Review:
a beautiful cottage with amazing views, quiet, comfortable and everything we needed, near to Dartmouth and our son's passing out parade. Dittisham is a lovely visit with interesting walks and a great water taxi to Dartmouth. My 90 year old Dad was with us and even he managed and enjoyed his stay. Nearby a pub that also house a Post Office and shop and served lovely Local Ales. What more could you want from a holiday. |

| Cottage Review:
Linney cottage provided a perfect venue for a relaxing family break. We have three children and a small dog and all really loved the cottage, with its private garden and access to several acres of shared garden, all overlooking the Dart. The facilities at the cottage catered for everything, it was clean and very well appointed. The village has a regular passenger ferry to Dartmouth as well as a lovely pub and superb fish restaurant. Loved everything about this and will definitely be returning. |
