We booked this property through Sykes and as we have a multiple of health and mobility issues within our party we contacted them before booking to check that it suited our needs. We were assured that it did as Sykes checked with the management company of the property so we booked it and were looking forward to a week away.

They were so wrong.... the downstairs bedroom was so small that you could barely get round the bed and the downstairs bathroom was only a cloakroom. There are stairs everywhere, 2 up to the conservatory, another 2 up to the landing, again 2 up to the entrance that leads on to the living room. There are 3/4 steps leading up from the kitchen to the landing which is where the cloakroom is situated so even that is difficult if you have mobility issues.

Our party seriously struggled. My Mum has very limited mobility and is in constant pain so she ended up having to sleep on the sofa in the conservatory as she could not get into the bed in the downstairs bedroom. That was bad enough but she ended up having to shower in the outside shower because there was no where else suitable!! Absolutely disgusting! By the Monday she was in tears and wanted to go home.

This house is beautiful but the substance is very poor. Uncomfortable beds, sofas etc so getting snug and comfy is impossible. The cleanliness is awful, cobwebs and dust everywhere, dirty blankets and pillows - the toilet brush in the cloakroom had about an inch of dust on it and was covered in cobwebs so god knows how the toilet got cleaned! My niece ran a bath in the jacuzzi bath and dirt and scum came flying out of the jets - vile! I would not recommend booking this property.
