| Cottage Review:
We stayed here in January for my husbands birthday, it was so relaxing and a lovely little place. Everything you need for a few days away. Hot tub lovely and warm, not overlooked, the only negative is the industry on the other side of the valley. Which on a night have 4 - 6 very bright lights that spoil the otherwise dark sky. A suggestion of some 18" screening from the top of the fence to the height of the little sitting area would block it out. And only on one side. We just ended up sitting with our backs to the lights. But saying that we had a great few days and have booked it again. Would we recommend it, most certainly. Looking forward to returning . |

Lovely Shepard?s Hut . Perfect for a couple. Very private and comfortable. Inside was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed in the facilities. Log burner was great really heated up the place and made it cosy. The hot tub was brilliant too and was always hot, I believe it was checked daily but we were never disturbed or even knew anyone was there. WiFi was great. Parking right outside the hut on the private land. Had to call the owner for exact directions to get in as didn?t want to just drive into private land, but he directed us perfectly and s |
