A very spacious well equipped house which gives groups of friends and family the opportunity to spend time together in stylish, comfortable surroundings. The house is conveniently situated only two minutes from the South Cliff Esplanade with its spectacular sea views and it's also only a 5-10 minute walk to the railway station, the beach and the town so a great option if you wish to leave the car at home. Good pubs, shops and restaurants are also close by. We welcome up to 2 dogs by prior arrangement. Scarborough is a wonderful old seaside resort on the North Yorkshire coast with many attractions including Scarborough Castle, an award-winning Sealife Centre, world class Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough harbour and marina and Europe's largest Open Air Theatre. It is on the edge of the North York Moors and only an hour away from the historic town of York or half an hour to the popular coast resort of Whitby.

| Cottage Review: Beautiful early Victorian house, well appointed and freshly decorated. Generous hosts with things like car-parking, loo rolls, washing up liquid, tea towels etc provided (this is very unusual). The house is arranged over 4 floors so it keeps you fit and ready to deal with Scarborough's steep hills and vertiginous steps. Over the past 20 years this is one of the best houses we have rented. | |||||
