Description of the holiday cottage
Higher Yelland Cottage holiday home in Whimple in East Devon is at the end of a private drive on the edge of Whimple and is a detached cottage converted from a barn, combining original features with modern comfort. Enclosed private patio (table/chairs). You are welcome to use the owners hard tennis court (don't forget your racquets!). Higher Yelland Cottage in whimple has a spacious farmhouse-style kitchen and dining room complete with a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, fridge-freezer, with pine table and chairs and slate floor. There is a double bedroom with en suite shower-room (suite); bathroom (suite with corner bath plus hand-shower). Open tread stairs up to large, light living room in the apex with Velux windows and balustrade, electric woodburner-effect fire and TV/DVD; two more bedrooms under the eaves (low head height) including a single plus pull-out truckle bed (limited space when both in use; no clothes-hanging space), and a single. Maximum 4 adults. A comfortable home, close to many attractions and the city of Exeter with its beautiful cathedral.Sleeps: 5
