Description of the self catering

Hallowarren Barn is a 3 bedroomed holiday cottage on the Lizard in Cornwall that is pet friendly and sleeps up to 6 in a rural location with fantastic gardens. Hallowarren Barn is a mile from Manaccan and just 100 yards from the head of Gillan Creek, in a magical setting, a cottage converted from an 18th century threshing barn with some low lintels, knobbly walls and beams. Hallowarren Barn looks over its extensive award-winning gardens with a picnic table and barbecue and woodland to 15 acres in all, through which a sparkling little stream runs, making this a very special place. All is for you to explore and enjoy, but small children should be supervised. Attached to one side of the cottage, a disused old stable and cart shed and there is plenty of car/boat parking space. A mile of creekside lane leads to the beach at St Anthony-in-Meneage and boat hire. Garden door leads into an open-plan living and dining room with beamed ceiling, large sofas, inglenook (woodburner), piano and TV/DVD/video; kitchen (slimline dishwasher, microwave, oil-fired Rayburn plus electric cooker, larder fridge) with slate worktops; big walk-in pantry (washing machine, tumble drier, freezer), through to smart shower-room (suite). Stairs up to three pretty bedrooms with wood floors and rugs, a double bedroom with en suite bathroom (suite, shower over bath) and door to garden via steps, another double in what was the threshing room, with gorgeous garden view, and a twin with the same lovely view; bathroom (suite, shower over bath). While the world rushes past, this is a little bit of secret heaven.
