| Cottage Review:
No electricity on arrival even though it said fuel and power included. No Wifi for the whole week even though it stated there was wifi. My autistic son is reliant on wifi to access things that help alleviate his anxieties. We would never have booked knowing this. 3 lights not working in the lounge. One of the old sash windows would not close leaving a gap at the bottom. When we complained the owner came and shoved what looked like a white plastic bin liner it. Soaking wet lounge curtain with mould on the back. Broken glass picture frame in the lounge, owner said it arrived in the post like that but then put it broken up on the wall.Broken toilet seat which was replaced after complaining. Black mould all over the bottom of the shower curtain. My autistic sons bed collapsed on the first night leaving him with a sore back and distressed. Owner came the next day to repair it it collapsed again that night giving him another stressful awfully uncomfortable night. Owner replaced the bed but sawdust was left all over the bed and the floor. Damp on wall in the twin room. This property should not have been let out to us in this condition. Our holiday was spoilt by constant emails and phone calls trying to sort out the problems. Not what you go on holiday for! |
