| Cottage Review:
Grimy Cottage more like. This cottage needs a good indepth clean and an update. Certain areas are cleaned but others sadly neglected including finding a dirty sock in the sofa when l dropped my pen. Upstairs seemed cleaner. Hotwater is there but takes some time to fill the bath and an age for it to drain. Lots of rules to follow written in red capitals with exclamatiin marks make it not a friendly feeling cottage for the high rates paid to stay. Great location and views but sadly the dirty feel to the place makes it uncomfortable, dont even dare to lift the sofa cushions. Needs signage for the low beam on the stairs. Beds are comfy. |

| Cottage Review:
We had booked and fully paid for this cottage through a small local holiday company for bank holiday weekend. With less than 24 hours to go before arrival our booking was cancelled in favour of someone who was willing to pay more on a National website. The stress and disappointment this has caused has been huge, the girls were devastated and to say I felt let down and stressed by this unethical behaviour is an understatement . I thought I had an agreement as I?d paid in full. After taking the afternoon off work to sort it out, I did manage to find something else, but I?m now very wary of cottage owners promises, let?s hope it?s a one off. I hope the family who are in Grimes cottage this weekend feel they?ve got what they?ve paid for, it?s certainly not their fault |
