Well where do I start?

I had informed the owners of the cottage that we would be celebrating a birthday during our stay there. When we arrived, we were welcomed with a bucket of drinks on ice, a balloon arch, personalised cakes and music already playing!

The cottage looks like it?s straight out of a magazine and it has been maintained to the highest standard (I have definitely taken some decor inspiration for my own house). We all felt as though it was a home from home!

It really does have something for everyone from the relaxing hot tub, to the games room in the outer barn. It?s only a short distance from The Stafford Arms where we had a great meal one night, before heading back to the cottage for cocktails and dancing!

We will definitely be booking again and can?t thank the owners enough for the 10/10 experience and making my partner?s birthday so special!

Went here for a long weekend for friends birthday. Beautiful house in lovely peaceful location directly opposite the golf course. Annex with pool table and additional bedroom/bathroom was great. 10 minute walk to pub which was lovely. Would stay here again

Went here for a long weekend. Gorgeous cottage with a little welcome pack on arrival. All the facilities you'd need including washer, dryer, hairdryer. House smelt gorgeous on arrival. Good location to local places. Stafford arms in walking distance with lovely food.

Negatives being the bin was already full on arrival and we had at least 3 bin bags of stuff to put in, recycling facilities would be useful.

Also someone turning up unannounced and not preadvised to check the hot tub, I understand this needs to be done but find it a bit if an invasion of priv

What a lovely holiday cottage this is, absolutely perfect! We stayed here for a week and it was ideal for us. Very clean and spacious and the hot tub gets checked every day by friends of the owners.

The location was spot on for our needs as we did some walking up at The Roaches and at Tittesworth Reservoir. We also visited Alton Towers one day as it?s only a 30 min drive away.

The golf course is beautiful and well worth a round although we were surprised it was a par 69.

We would definitely stay here again...you can?t get a better recommendation than that.

This cottage was just perfect! There was 6 of us away for a nice weekend catch up and it was just what we needed. The cottage itself has the most beautiful design and detail, right down to the cushions, the house is spacious, clean and welcoming. The outdoor facilities of a hottub and beautiful garden was perfect. The cottage overlooks a golf course, making this a quiet and idealistic place. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope to book again with you next year. I cannot recommend this place enough

This place is amazing, over looking the golf course and no other houses around!

On arrival you enter a code which releases a key. The decor and cleanliness is the first thing you notice when you walk in. The owner had put the Christmas decorations up which were beautiful. They also left us a bottle of wine, crackers, milk and oat cakes, which was really appreciated.
