This is just a update since I complained and got some money back from my visit this has been downgraded to 2 stars so obviously sykes who manage it and told me it was ok do now not agree with their own comments |

| Cottage Review:
This cottage is in need of much work the list of problems is endless Its in a lovely place but the area around and the garden has lots of dog poo The owners dog uses it as a toilet and is let out alone so it stays were it was deposited. There is a half burnt mattress in the adjacent field that you can see from the cottage not nice to look at . The cottage inside is in need of work from decorating to cleaning ,the bedroom is so small that you have to walk sideways to get in and out of bed. No wardrobe space for clothes just a small shelf . The toilet leaks the bath leaks the sink in the kitchen leaks. The towel dryer in bathroom is taped up and unsafe. The rugs and carpets need changing. If anyone is thinking of going with a child and using the so called attic room please don't its not fit as it stands for children to be up there its very damp and smelly. The owners very large male dog tries to mate with mine male dog at every opportunity so we ended up having to take the dog to the toilet by been carried to the car and driving outside, Her dog scratches the door until gone 10 pm and we had to get the owner 5 or 6 times to remove him The garden is not private when the owners dog can enter because its not secured by a gate or fence. I don't normally leave negative reviews but this is how I found it and I do have pictures and proof if needed. |
