We had a wonderful time at the Black Isle. The weather was really good after the Sat. We have fallen in love with the dolphins Best time at Chanonry Point we found to be 1 to 2 hours after low tide. We went on the Ecoventures rib trip and saw loads quite close up. Apart from that lots of walking, an ice cream on the harbor bench outside the front door and a glass of wine in the evening each day. We are well chilled

We had a very enjoyable stay in this comfortable cottage. The location was very pretty and peaceful and the cottage was well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting Chanonry Point to see the dolphins and seals. The local shops were very useful. All in all a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful area.

Many thanks George, I think I've got the better weather though! It's been a fantastic week up here in Fortrose but there again we seem to have our own eco climate. (Can't understand why it took 20 mins to walk to the high street - its only 500 yds away)!!

Great position, quiet and close to the Firth facing south, the area is recommended. Good facilities in the town. Cottage adequately equipped not luxurious but all the basics were there. Having to take sheets, duvet cover, towels was the only downside - although this was clear in the booking instructions.
