| Cottage Review:
First impressions from the outside were disappointing. Access to the accommodation is via the bin area, which hadn't been cleaned, was smelly with lots of flies. However, once inside, the place is a delight. It's immaculately clean, very well equipped with crisp white bedding and big fluffy white towels. There's a view of the Abbey from the living room and it's just a few minutes, very pleasant walk into Whitby centre. The outside seating area is a nice touch. However, we didn't use it as it hadn't been cleaned and the furniture was splattered with seagull mess. Whilst the seagulls will be an ongoing issue, covers for the furniture would help. Parking at peak times could be a little tricky. In summary, we had a very nice break in comfortable surroundings and would be happy to return. |
