Description of the self catering property

Fern chalet is a 2 storey villa that sleeps 2-8 persons, and a well behaved dog is permitted. The accommodation is based on the Welcome Family Holiday Park, and is under private family ownership. We have a number of chalets for hire in the same block. There is a double bedroom and twin bedroom upstairs, with sofa-bed for two extra guests. There is a TV upstairs in the twin room. The first floor bathroom includes a shower over the bath, and separate toilet. On the ground floor, there is an open plan kitchenette supplied with a freezer, fridge, microwave, toaster, hot plate and mini oven. There is a dining table and further workplace for food preparation. In the lounge, there are sofa-beds and a large TV. An outdoor dining area is supplied overlooking well presented communal gardens. Parking is available at either side of the chalet block for your convenience, and at no extra charge. The chalet is on a popular holiday park, and there are lots of site facilities for your enjoyment. This includes a pool and club (open at certain times for private guests), playground, sports pitch, launderette, gift shops, takeaways and a daily entertainment programme. The Hazelwood clubhouse on the park opposite welcomes our private guests in for their kids club, cabaret and quiz nights, along with bingo. The Blue Flag beach resort of Dawlish Warren is a few minutes flat walk from the chalet, with a golf course, go karting, fun fair and amusements, pubs and cafes, nature reserve, coastal walk into Dawlish and takeaways.
