Description of the holiday cottage
Detached barn conversion, specially for 2 people, with enclosed private garden on the edge of Dartmoor, close to the Cornwall border and within easy reach of the Devon and Cornwall coasts. Our guests tell us they love the well equipped kitchen and the quality of the fixtures and fittings. The kitchen has granite worksurfaces, bespoke oak cupboards, range style cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and a fridge wth 4* freezer compartment.
The bathroom has a power shower and the bed is a superking 6ft that can be made up as 2 x 3ft twins if preferred.
Our guests also tell us that they enjoy the nearby woods and moors for walking as well as the beaches where dogs are welcome all year round, the nearest being Sandymouth, near to Bude.
The cottage is cosy even in the winter and we provide an initial supply of tea, coffee and milk as well as a bottle of wine so that you can snuggle down on the sofa in front of the woodburner - if you can prise the dog out of the way!

| Cottage Review: A lovely week spent exploring Devon and a great day out at Chagford Show. The cottage was absolutely perfect for us and the dogs and the best we have come across in terms of dog friendliness. We've loved it here and I am sure we'll be back! | |||||

| Cottage Review:
At long last a cottage that caters for us and for our dog! Lovely furnishings and top quality decor with doggy friendly floors everywhere. It is not all that difficult is it!! thank you Nicky and Trevor, you've got it right. Lovely and peaceful week with lovely weather and breakfast on the patio most mornings. Our top attractions were Sandymouth Beach. Castle Drogo is lovely but in our opinion not so good with dogs as access to most things are limited, but the walk from the castle to Fingle Bridge, as other guests have stated, is fabulous,with the Inn to take in a welcome meal or drink. Dartmoor Prison and museum was very informative and well worth a visit, with a lovely walk on the moor. Maidencombe just off Newton Abbot is lovely with a cove where our dog could swim. For food - the New Inn at Sampford Courtenay (local) but we found all of the inns to be doggy friendly and we were never turned away. All in All a fabulous holiday. |

| Cottage Review:
The location is very central for excursions to either side of Devon and into Cornwall. Our favourite excursion was into the local woods for a peaceful walk. Thanks for the bottle of wine, very nice and set the scene for the rest of the week. The home grown eggs are delicious! |

| Cottage Review: Absolutely Perfect! Dreamcatcher has everything I could have wished for - I have never stayed in self-catering that was so well equipped, even the dog was catered for. It was possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. | |||||
