Description of the cottage holiday
Demesne Farm was built in 1780 (now a listed building) and has been converted into 5 luxury, self-catering holiday cottages. You enter Dove Cote through a large arched door into lounge area, which is also open plan including the kitchen and dining area. Downstairs also has a bedroom with double bed, a walk in shower room. All entrances to Dove Cote are ramped to allow wheel chair access. Upstairs is a further double room and two twins which all share a house bathroom. The patio is in front and has stunning views over Robin Hoods Bay and the sea.Best Features

| Cottage Review:
This was my 3rd visit to Dovecote, being a wheelchair user, I need easy access.This you get on ground floor .Entry to bedroom on grd floor,has easily managed ramp path(low); where there is a safe non slip toilet and shower room, seat for shower,and room for a wheelchair too. Tho a chair would need to be folded to get past end of bed.not a problem tho as room to transfer.A ramp with hand rail accesses main cottage.Spacious lounge ,dining rm and kitchen, all easy to use from wheelchair, cooker,microwave,fridge/freezer etc.I found I could cook easily for 6 with no problems. Outside patio is easy to access and is ramped oneside,leading to a car parking area. magnificent views. I look forward to many more visits, and June and Allan will do utmost to cater for your needs. is clean, comfortable and a home from home. Clean and fresh bedlinen & towels,A TV in bedromon grd floor for those needing a rest away from main cottage. Nicky L |
