Images of property did not represent the current state.” Photographs were obviously taken many years ago and the advert is a dire misrepresentation of this now tired holiday let. Damp, stale & smelly. Settee smelt fusty and felt damp. Threadbare carpets that we're covered with random runners and heavily stained throughout the living area. Images show a twin room with single beds, when in fact it was a double bed. This was a main reason for taking this property over others in Dartmouth. Bathroom not clean, hairs and dust on bath edging. Images show a loft space / chill out area, this is unusable as it is a health & safety hazard attempting to get up or down. Outside space was dirty and the area adjacent to the kitchen which housed the washing machine was full of blue bottles and maggots left over from rotting crabbing buckets. After paying through the nose for this property after such a tough period and just wanting somewhere pleasant to stay I can honestly say that we were not impressed one bit! The location is great and Dartmouth itself was lovely but the house is one to miss! |
