Description of the cottage holiday
Columbine Cottage in the ancient village of Poughill (church, pub) with its pretty thatched cottages is on the far edge of Bude, 1 and a half miles from the sandy cove of Northcott Mouth. Off a hedgerow lane, 500 yards from the pub, is a neatly manicured, wooded site with 14 cottages, indoor heated swimming pool (available February half-term to end of October half-term and over Christmas/New Year), games room (table tennis, pool table), laundry (washing machines, tumble driers - extra), payphone, shady orchard and children s play field. Columbine Cottage is a semi-detached single-storey cottage and has lovely long views from its sunny patio (table/chairs). Inside, contemporary, neat-as-a-pin and comfortable with open-plan living/dining/kitchen (slimline dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer) with TV/DVD/Blu-ray/video and glazed doors to patio. Two bedrooms including a double and a twin; bathroom (suite, shower over bath plus hand-shower); loo.Quiet, convenient and a brilliant base from which to venture out.Sleeps: 4
