Description of the cottage holiday
Clovelly Cottage is a mile inland from Mousehole by hedgerow lane, in the ancient seaward-facing hamlet of Sheffield, surrounded by farmland, a thick-walled cottage snuggled between its neighbours with fine long views out to sea and along the coast from upstairs. Built in 1850, it s now a comfy home full of original art and craft work and quirkiness. At the back, an enclosed lawned garden with sea glimpses. Inner porch at Clovelly Cottage near Mousehole (coat hooks/boot space) into living room with big inglenook (woodburner), slate floor; kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, freezer, larder fridge) with tiled floor; sun room with comfy sofa and chairs and door to garden; loo. From the living room, steep, half-spiral stairs (stairgate) up to three bedrooms including two double (one with 5' bed, the other with limited clothes-hanging space), both with great views, and a single; bathroom (suite, shower over bath). A unique cottage; lane walk to pub 1/2 mile away at Paul; great walks along the Coast Path.Sleeps: 5
