| Cottage Review:
Firstly this cottage is fully equipped and comfortable. Everything on the discription and pictures are true. We had a fortnight and as for the cottage we have no complaints. BUT. What it doesn't mention is the church bells opposite chime every 1/4 hour, every hour, 24 hrs a day!!...... . The pictures of the cottage show how close to the road it is, again it doesn't mention that some times you have vehicles stopped outside the front door waiting at the junction, which is very busy. Now and again it's so loud you cannot hear the TV/radio. The parking is to the left of the church. Never a problem with getting a space. But yet again it's a very busy A road, with constant traffic. You need two people. One the opposite side of the road to see you out, when a gap in the traffic arrived ( and that's driving out forward)........ Whilst we were there we had a loss of power. Having checked the street and neighbours we were the only property with out power. Four time we rang the emergency number, each time with no answer and no answer machine. We phoned the power company and was told it was an internal fault. After two hours we eventually found the fault . ..... It might sound a lot of complaints, but overall they were small, but I just wished the discription was more truthful. |
