Description of the holiday cottage
Church Wells Cottage is in the heart of Slapton, an attractive Edwardian cottage, its tiny flower-filled enclosed front garden, together with those of adjoining sister cottages, creating a pretty picture-postcard view along the little lane to the church (bells on Sundays, alternating mornings/evenings). At the back, an enclosed sunny paved garden (table/chairs). Inside Church Wells Cottage in Slapton, recently renovated, surprisingly spacious with good-sized rooms, stripped pine floors downstairs, carpeted bedrooms. Three steps up to front door to hall; living room (TV/DVD) and light-filled kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer) with woodburner, TV/DVD and glazed double doors to the garden; tiled utility room (washing machine) with further door to garden; loo. Upstairs (stairgates), two bedrooms including a double bedroom and a twin; bathroom (suite, shower over bath). WiFi suitable for emails/browsing only. Parking space in owners garden next door (narrow entrance, good manoeuvring skills required). Church Wells Cottage is a really welcoming cottage, a pleasure to return to after exploring nearby pretty villages and coastline.Sleeps: 4
