| Cottage Review:
Grosmont is a beautiful place to visit. The cottage, though tedious to get to by road is just a ten minute walk from the village where you can board the fabulous heritage carriages of North Yorkshire Steam Railway. The cottage, whilst cosy, needs some work in the kitchen and bathroom. I have high standards but can cope with lower expectations that holiday let's unfortunately tend to fall to due to the often careless clientele who fail to treat their surroundings as they would at home. | Cottage Review:
Absolutely gorgeous cottage in a stunningly beautiful location! The cottage itself has everything you could possibly need, we wanted for nothing. Watching the steam trains pass the house is unforgettable, and the view is simply breathtaking. Lovely walks in either direction to Grosmont and Beck Hole, both have great dog friendly pubs with lovely food. We can't wait to come back, maybe in the winter this time so we can make the most of the fab coal fire! Couldn't recommend this cottage or location enough for a holiday in North Yorkshire. |
