Description of the cottage holiday
Butterbrook Coach House in Harford, a cottage converted from an old coach house attached to a big, Grade II listed Victorian former rectory. Impressively approached along a beech-lined drive, the cottage is to one side of the friendly owners home, with its own enclosed sunny courtyard (table/chairs, gas barbecue) in front. There are 40 acres of sheep-grazed meadows (bluebells) and woods full of wildlife for you to explore and excellent walks, including footpaths directly to the moor. Mothecombe beach, 25 minute drive. Inside Butterbrook Coach House in Harford, smart, stylish and comfortable with oak floors (rugs) in most rooms. Big hall (for coats/boots/drying dogs) with cupboard housing washing machine and small freezer; living room looking to courtyard with woodburner, TV/DVD, leather sofas; smart fitted kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, microwave, larder fridge) with granite worktops and big glazed double doors to courtyard. From hall, stairs (stairgate) up to two bedrooms, a double (5 foot bed) plus child s 2'3" folding bed (for use in either bedroom), and a twin; bathroom (suite, shower over bath) with tiled floor. Spring water. A good retreat.Sleeps: 5
