The hosts are so lovely, a wonderful family. The accomodation is bliss. We were there for wild swimming and hiking. Walking from the cittage taking in crazywell and Foggintor Quarry was bliss.

We just loved it here, they have swim dip spots on the actual farm.

You had a secluded garden area, and a big fully fence garden which was beautiful.

We were hiking and swimming all day and then cooking and chilling in the evening.

Great selection of dvds.

We will definately go back.

Visited Buster Barn again in October and, as ever, it was wonderful. Sally and Monty couldn't have been more kind and helpful, and the Barn itself is so lovely - warm and cosy, beautifully appointed and just a lovely place to relax. I was on my own, but it would be perfect for a couple as well. Just sitting in the main area, the views are magnificent. As an added bonus, Sainsbury's deliver, which is very convenient. Sally and Monty were wonderful not just with me, but also with Tia, my beautiful Golden Retriever. All in all, a perfect break. Thank you, Sally and Monty. See you again soon.

We stayed here for a week from 29/8/20 to 5/9/20. The location is stunning. Sally and Monty are really friendly and helpful. They have thought of everything. We had some lovely cupcakes and a vase of beautiful fresh flowers on our arrival. The barn itself is homely and inviting. There?s plenty of outside space with complete privacy. We barely used the car, there are beautiful walks right on the doorstep. Then when you get back there?s a lovely big bath to soak in. The bed is big and comfy. We felt so at home here, we were reluctant to leave. We will definite

My husband and myself stayed here from 15-22 sept 2018 with our dog. We absolutely loved it here and did not want to return home. It is a beautiful cottage with amazing views in a very peaceful setting. The owners Sally and Monty were absolutely brilliant. Fresh flowers and cakes on arrival. Anything we needed we just had to ask and it was not a problem. Could not have asked for a better place to spend our wedding anniversary. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to escape their busy lives for a very relaxing break away. Keep up the good work Sally a

Wow, is the first thing myself and my husband said when we pulled up to the cottage with our dog Newton. We had a really really long drive and arrived very late but to arrive at such a lovely cottage, with milk and delicious homemade cakes waiting for us was just fab!

The views from the cottage are simply stunning overlooking many of the Tors and there are fantastic walks right from the door step. The gardens are extensive but also secure which was great for our dog.

The owners, Sally & Monty are absolutely lovely people and made us feel so so welcome an

Well me and the other half are on our 2nd night of a week long stay and I'm not waiting till I get home to do this. Spotlessly clean, the hosts bend over backwards when you arrive, even to the point where a box of cakes were bought up to us!

We are using this as a base camp and are out on the moors 10-12 hours a day hiking but could quite easily just sit on the sofa and watch tv all day!

Fully functioning kitchen including washer/Dryer. Tea, coffee supplied, even down to cling film, silver foil. We done a big shop in Tavistock at the large, unameable superm

We arrived in the midst of Storm Brian so the drive in was a bit hairy if you aren't familiar with single track roads.

Despite the weather we were very happy when we arrived. We were greeted by some freshly baked cakes which was lovely with a cup of tea watching the rain.

The cottage is gorgeous and has everything you need for a long or short break You are out in the sticks so we tended to cook of an evening and found everything we needed in the kitchen.

I slept so well, as it is so quiet and completely dark! And the bed was nice a cosy with 2 duvets :

What a place. So nice. Spacious. Heating makes it lovely and cosy if chilly. Hosts are really friendly and nice.

The only downside is the distance along the single track lanes. Don't be put off though, you will be rewarded with a fantastic stay. Peaceful, private and yet not totally alone if you need assistance. Nice walks from door too. If you like to get away from city life then this is the place for you.

Well done Sally and Monty for letting us stay in your barn and your great welcome.

Thank you

If you are looking to 'escape to the country' and love walking in stunningly, beautiful countryside, Buster Barn ticks all the boxes. It is set deep in the Dartmoor countryside, with fantasticl views, and has everything you could possibly need to enjoy and comfortable and relaxing stay. The owners are really welcoming and happy to help you make the most of your holiday with their knowledge of the local area., You have your own very private areas, including a lovely rustic seating shelter where you can just sit with a glass of something and take in the beauty of Dartmoor. Dogs are made very welcome, and they have the sweetest dog of their own who comes to greet you on arrival. Shops are within easy driving distance.
