Description of the holiday cottage
Burham Barn in Dousland, very quietly situated along 1/3 mile of driveway from the lane, a single-storey cottage created from a barn to the main house. You have your own little patio (table/chairs) and all is surrounded by mature gardens and meadows (horses, cattle, sheep). Footpaths/lanes lead to various pubs from the friendly owners 25 acres, over which you are welcome to roam, with care.
Burham Barn is esigned for comfort and convenience, open-plan living/dining/kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, larder fridge, cooker with induction hob) with lofty beamed ceiling, TV/DVD and glazed doors (with blinds) to garden room with futon and patio doors to the garden. Double bedroom (5 bed, footboard) with en suite bathroom (suite with corner bath plus hand shower, bidet).
Entrance lobby with shower-room (suite), sink, washer-drier and freezer. A serene place within 1/2 mile of two pubs on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park.
