Barnaby Cottage, 16 South Side, Hutton Rudby, Stokesley, North Yorkshire, TS150DD

Description of the holiday cottage

Barnaby Cottage is a two bedroom holiday cottage in Hutton Rudby, North Yorkshire, sleeping up to three guests. Set in the centre of the village, it is a practical choice for couples, a small family or dog owners looking for a self catering break with village facilities, countryside walks and the North York Moors within reach.

The cottage has a king size bedroom and a single bedroom, making it best suited to two adults with one child, a couple wanting extra space, or a small group of three. There is one bathroom on the first floor, while the ground floor has a kitchen diner and a sitting room with an electric fire, giving guests separate spaces for meals and relaxing after days out.

Useful features include WiFi, TVs, DVD player, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, gas central heating, underfloor heating, bed linen, towels and a highchair on request. Outside, Barnaby Cottage has an enclosed rear courtyard with seating, giving guests a small private space to sit out during the stay. On street parking is available, although guests should check the latest parking details before booking.

The village location is one of the main reasons to consider Barnaby Cottage. Hutton Rudby has a pub, local shop and rural surroundings, while also being close to the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Northallerton, Stokesley, Yarm and Guisborough are all within reach, giving guests options for market towns, places to eat and local days out.

The cottage is also well placed for exploring more of North Yorkshire. Guests can visit the North York Moors, Roseberry Topping, Helmsley, Rievaulx Abbey, Mount Grace Priory, Saltburn by the Sea, Staithes and the wider Yorkshire coast during their stay. This gives a mix of countryside walks, historic sites, coastal trips and village based relaxation.

One well behaved pet is welcome and smoking is not permitted. Before booking, it is worth checking the latest prices, availability, dog rules, parking arrangements, access notes, review scores and booking terms through the cottage provider, as these can change throughout the year.

A review of Barnaby Cottage can be especially helpful because small village cottages often depend on practical details such as layout, parking, heating and local facilities. If you have stayed here, share what you thought of the bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen diner, sitting room, cleanliness, courtyard, dog friendly details and on street parking. It is also useful to mention the village pub, local shop, nearby walks and how easy it was to visit the North York Moors, Northallerton, Stokesley or the Yorkshire coast during your stay.

Cottage Review:

This is a lovely quaint cottage in a gorgeous friendly village. Exceptionally clean, very comfortable bed. Enclosed rear garden which my dog loved. There was a welcome basket with tea bags, coffee, cookies and a pint of milk in the fridge. Washing up liquid, soap, sanitiser are all provided. TV's in both bedrooms and lounge. If you don't want to cook the food at the Wheatsheaf pub only a 2 minute walk was excellent and the pub is dog friendly. Highly recommend as we had a lovely relaxing stay x
