Description of the self catering
Apple Barn Is a large and extremely well appointed barn set in the grounds of a working farm and is approximately 1 1/2 miles from the village of North Molton in North Devon. Perfectly positioned for a large group, barn in North Molton is a luxury holiday cottage that has additional benefits including your own hot tub and a shared games room with a pool table, table football and table tennis as well as a hockey table. There are 6 acres of grounds to explore including plenty of outdoor activities such as the play area, sides, swings and a trampoline. Apple Barn is extremely well appointed and beautifully presented throughout, there are five bedrooms, three of these have their own ensuite shower rooms. One of the double bedrooms on the ground floor, one is on the first floor and one is on the second floor, there are also two twin bedrooms also on the second floor which also benefits from a family bathroom with a bath and a shower over the bath. The living area is elegant and traditional with the kitchen, dining area and sitting area all in one huge space. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern cons including a double oven and hob. Apple Barn is perfectly located for a large group and can be booked in conjunction with the other barn is, subject to availability, and in total can sleep up to 37 people. North Molton is easily accessed from the North Devon link road and has a welcoming pub called the Poltimore Inn. This is widely considered to be the gateway to Exmoor from the link road, there are superb walks in the surrounding area where you can enjoy spectacular wildlife, watch the birds of prey and the Exmoor ponies and you may even spot a few stags. A superb holiday cottage in a stunning location and is also very popular.- 10 people are catered for at Apple Barn in North Molton.

| Cottage Review:
Set back in the countryside surrounded by rolling hills is the beautiful Apple Barn. We found it relatively easy to find and loved our 3 night stay in December. The barn was nice and modern with a big lounge area. It was great to have a log fire during our winter visit. The hot tub was perfect. We ventured out a few times to go for dinner or a wonder around the local towns but we were happy to relax at the barn and watch movies or play board games. There was also a games room that was open to guests. |

For our first family get away in a long time we wanted something to tick all the boxes, and Apple Barn certainly did that! The owners were helpful with things to do, accommodating and super friendly, even being so kind as to lend us herbs and spices when we needed them for home cooking! The welcome pack was a lovely surprise! With ages ranging from 6 to 60, Apple Barn had something for everyone. | Cottage Review:
A beautiful holiday house which was spacious downstairs and cosy upstairs. Lovely welcome from owners who were helpful but not obtrusive. Welcome pack very useful. Lovely outdoor spaces to enjoy the fantastic views. Even on the odd cold and damp days we were able to enjoy the views from the huge windows overlooking the valley. A great base to explore lovely North Devon. Certainly would recommend this property for family gatherings. The en suite bathrooms were so useful in the mornings when we wanted to make an early start. |
