Abscott Cottage, a 3 bedroom contemporary holiday cottage for 6 people (+ cot) in the heart of North Devon, within easy reach of golden surfing beaches and Exmoor. 3 double/twin bedrooms, each with en suite. Three large double bedrooms all with luxury en-suite bathrooms plus a guest cloakroom fill the ground floor of the cottage. The master bedroom with a zip ad link double bed available as twin beds has a vaulted pine-beamed vaulted ceiling and French windows leading onto one of the patios – perfect for relaxing in the sun or dining at twilight on balmy summer evenings. There is one twin bedroom and one further double bedroom with French windows and views over the garden.
Upstairs a set of 3 linked open plan reception rooms with beamed ceilings, stripped pine floors and floor to ceiling windows giving pleasant views across attractive North Devon countryside.
Plug your iPod into the docking station and relax with friends or a good novel on comfortable sofas arranged around a wood burning fire. Perfect for cosy autumn evenings after a dinner in the spacious dining area featuring a stripped pine table and church-style pews.
The fully equipped kitchen contains with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and a large American style fridge/freezer with water dispenser and icemaker.
Abscott Cottage is nicely located for those wishing to explore North Devon. It's within an easy drive of Devon’s finest beaches such as Woolacombe, Croyde, and Saunton Sands.
Experience bracing cliff top walks along the South West Coastal footpath with spectacular views between Combe Martin and Lynton or lose yourself in the wild grandeur of the Exmoor National Park with its ancient villages, roaming deer and ponies.
