The cottages of Abhainn Rí Farm are situated upon the rolling Wicklow hills and overlooks Abhainn Rí (The Kings river) flowing into the spectacular Blessington lakes. A tourist’s dream ideally located in the heart of Wicklow’s magnificent mountains with superb lakes, rivers, valleys, beaches, historic houses, heritage locations, family visitor attractions and wonderful walks. Each of our four cottages Ash, Beech, Holly and Ivy sleeps six with all bedrooms en suite.
The Abhainn Rí cottages provide a stunning lake & mountain view and are in an area of outstanding natural beauty, perfect for family holidays, group gatherings and romantic getaways.
Abhainn Rí provides complimentary welcome baskets for guests on arrival to include our home baking and free range eggs. Traditional meals can be ordered from our menu and delivered ready to serve. All foods are sourced on site or locally.
Experience country life in the natural beauty of forest, lakes and mountains. Enjoy nature and take a walk from the cottages through the fields to the lakeshore with a detailed map to guide you.
Special scheduled farm activities every day for Children helping to care and feed the small farm animals such as hens, ducks, miniature goats, donkeys, pony, pigs and sheepdog with farmer Joe.
There are many exciting places to visit on Irelands East Coast such as Glendalough, Russborough House, Avondale, Powerscourt, Mount Usher, Dublin City, Kildares National Stud & Gardens and Kildare Shopping Village.
