Description of the holiday cottage
A 1 bedroom top floor apartment, sleeps 2. Sea views across to Brixham Marina and across the bay to Torquay. Very close to the inner harbour and town centre. Designated parking space. This top floor apartment has spectacular sea views and on a clear day you can see right across the bay to Torquay. The replica of Sir Francis Drake's Golden Hind and the shops, cafes and restaurants is just a minute's walk away. Not only is the apartment so close to the harbour, the allocated parking space means you can always park your car after a day out. With the pleasant coastal walks, you may find Brixham has so much to offer within walking distance that you won 't use it at all. The entrance to Dolphin Court has undergone a full refurbishment and the four flights each of seven steps are covered in high quality non slip floor tiles ?leading to the apartment ? which is furnished and decorated to the highest of standards in contemporary neutral colours. There is a large storage cupboard in the hall containing two folding patio chairs which can be used to enjoy the bay view on the walkway outside the apartment. Heating is by night storage heaters.

| Cottage Review:
The property smelt of damp. On closer inspection i realised the walls in the bedroom had mould and when i pulled out the side cabinet it was thick with mould. The back of the bed turned out to be filthy with years of thick cobwebs covering the full length of the bed unit. When i spoke to the owners she was rude and said she inspected it herself 3 weeks previous and denied everything i raised despite my passing photos as evidence to blue chip the managing agents who managed to be almost as bad to deal with. She raised her voice and stated "what do you expect me to do from 200 miles away" when i told her a clean from a care taker the same afternoon would not resolve a serious damp/mould problem. |
